Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae

The plate was incubated for 24 h at 37° C and photographed with lighting from below. Note the narrow zone of hemolysis around colonies that are visible under light from below. The "satellitism" is best viewed under light from above (see Fig. 57:3).
