Bacillus subtilis subsp. subtilis

Bacillus subtilis subsp. subtilis
Fig. 133:4. Phylogenetic tree based on 16S rRNA gene sequences, which illustrates the relations between members of the order Bacillales, which is indicated with vertical bars. All taxa in the tree belong to the class Bacilli except Escherichia coli and Erysipelothrix (Ery.) spp. The latter belongs to the class Erysipelotrichia. Names of taxa in blue are included in VetBact and taxa in bold are included in this bacterial page.

The tree was generated on line by using the computer program "Tree Builder" at the website of RDP. E. coli was chosen as outgroup. (T) means type strain and B. in B. thermosphacta means Brochothrix thermosphacta, which is a spoilage bacterium.
