<i>Staphylococcus saprophyticus</i> subsp. <i>saprophyticus</i>

Plate A was photographed with lighting from above and plate B with lighting from below. Note that S. saprophyticus subsp. saprophyticus is growing in sector 1 (bovine blood agar with aesculin) and in sector 4 (mannitol salt agar) and that this staphylococcus does not produce hemolysis on blood agar. The length of the scalebar is equivalent to 1 cm. Date: 2017-09-21.
